Cheryl (Cartwright) lost her fight to breast cancer on September 5, 2015.  It was a two year battle that she fought with dignity, courage and a sense of humor that parallels none.  Cheryl and her husband Scott Cartwright (FHS '72) have one daughter (Whitney ) who got engaged 2 days prior to Cheryl's passing.  Whitney will be getting married on October 1st this year.  It will be a very bittersweet event without Cheryl there in person.  But we know she'll be right there laughing, singing and dancing along with the rest of us.  My BFF for almost 40 years.  I miss you my friend.  Nancy Wickins
